Super street fighter 4 mugen characters8/17/2023 It can make moves that were already safe on block into frame traps. It can make high risk moves that would typically be punishable, safe on block. What this means is that you can move four frames faster than you would have been able to if you used that move outside of Drive Rush. The key thing to know about Drive Rush is that the first move you use out of a Drive Rush will get +4 frames of advantage, whether it hits or gets blocked. Doing it this way will cause the Drive Rush to come out very fast, and is necessary in order to perform some tricky Drive Rush combos.Press forward twice and then Drive Parry. The Drive Rush cancellable moves vary from character to character, so just test out each of your character's moves to find out which ones can do it.This will cost three bars of Drive Meter.Press forward twice during specific Drive Rush cancellable moves.Go into the Drive Parry stance, and double tap forward. This can be performed in three different ways: Perfect parrying projectiles will make it so that you don't get pushed back, and you will recover faster, making you able to close the distance much faster than if you were just blocking or using regular parries.ĭrive Rushes cause your character to flash green, and then has them dashing forward at high speed. If you manage to get a perfect parry, indicated by a zoom in and slow down effect, you can cancel into your next move, making it so that you can punish things you'd normally be unable to punish. The downside to this tactic is that it gets beaten by throws, and if you get thrown while in the stance, you'll take a lot more damage, so use it sparingly. It costs half a bar to enter the stance, but when you absorb the attack, you'll gain that half-bar right back!īlock Mix-ups: If your opponent is using ambiguous mixups on you that have you guessing between having to block high, low, left, or right, just use a Drive Parry and you'll be covered regardless. To avoid this, use Drive Parry to block instead. Block Projectiles: There is no chip damage in Street Fighter 6 unless you are in Burnout, but everytime you block a special move, you will lose some of your drive meter.
